Marija Stragyte - Vilnius, Lithuania (EMIS Alumni 2021)

After spending 17 years of her life in Lithuania, Marija decided to continue her studies elsewhere and explore political complexities at EMIS. Following her graduation in 2021, she moved to Barcelona, where she is pursuing a Bachelors degree in Business Administration.

By leading the EMIS Mission Committee and organizing the annual Mission Week, Marija learned the value of sharing personal narratives in the context of conflict and interpersonal relationships. Leading the social committee and organizing community events inspired Marija to continue exploring the strength of community and the importance of social inclusion, hence her focusing on management studies.
