Our Goals
To encourage young people to become responsible active citizens and future leaders within their communities. Prepare young people to eventually partake in real conflict resolution. Mainly through annual simulated negotiations between delegations, planned activities and lectures. Serve as a platform for collaboration with young ambassadors around the world who seek to promote projects in fields related to CRC's mission.
The Charney Resolution Center
The Charney Resolution Center is an innovative space dedicated to embodying the spirit of philanthropist and Middle East negotiator Mr. Leon Charney, by emphasizing the importance of being a politically conscious and active citizen, both in one’s community and in the world.
The Center was founded by Tzili Charney in 2015, and is located on the campus of the Eastern Mediterranean International School, an international boarding school which focuses on teaching respect towards others, dialogue, and the value of peace. Due to our shared goals we have programs available to the students of EMIS.
Our mission is to give those involved a platform in implementing their ideas for improving their communities and to spread the Center’s message of peace. - Tzili Charney [link to about us page, more info on Tzili and Leon Charney]
I want the activity in the center to motivate individuals for the purpose of pursuing peace all over the world - Leon Charney
