The students from the Summer Youth University Program at Tel Aviv Universitywere delighted to be hosted during this past summer by the Green Village. This hosting allowed the university to offer its unique programs to all of the students in Israel. One of these programs being the aforementioned Summer Youth University Program. This initiative is meant for integrating outstanding students from grades 10-12 from peripheral communities all over Israel including: Jews, Muslims, and Druze. The students study on the University campus in the morning and in the evening they tour the country, take lessons, and engage in social activities at the Green Village. Near the end of their summer course, on August 14th, the students learned about the activities at the center that they could potentially participate in. The students then shared their positive experiences about being with kids who practiced different religions for the first time while living at the CRC dorms together.
