On September 20th, the Charney Resolution Center participated in the annual EMIS CAS fair. CAS (Creativity, Activity, Service) is a core element of the IB (International Baccalaureate) program and consists of a series of extra-curricular activities, such as sports and social initiatives led by students. This year, like last year, we presented two projects.
The first is the annual Peace Talks Simulation, an event every year where students simulate peace negotiations between Israeli and Palestinian delegations. EMIS students can not only attend this event, they can also help organize as a part of their school service.
The second is the Peace Ambassadors CAS program, created in collaboration with Sipur Hikaya, a partner NGO that focuses on peace and the exploration of the Israeli/Palestinian dual narrative.
We were happy to see a lot of interest in both of these projects at the fair and we look forward to working with EMIS students and helping promote peace through education.
