Dr. Sapir Handelman recently led a condensed course on Solution Focused Negotiation for high school students at Kfar Hayrok in Israel. Eleven students from EMIS and eight students from the NAALE program participated in the course.
The participants explored core negotiation and conflict resolution principles, utilizing both face-to-face discussions and the Negoflict digital negotiation platform. Through interactive exercises, they worked on real-life social conflicts, applying learned strategies to reach solutions.
Inspired by their experience, the students proposed establishing a Negotiation Club, a platform for conflict resolution practice and learning. As a first step, we have launched the Negoflict Charney Negotiation Center page to support this initiative.
Some feedback from the students:
"We gained a lot of knowledge about different conflicts and various approaches to resolving them."
"During the workshop, we split into work groups and applied what we learned to real-life conflicts. It was very effective."
