Students from Florida Atlantic University’s Leon Charney Diplomacy Program (LCDP) recently participated in the National Model United Nations (NMUN) conference, held November 8–10 in Washington, D.C. This prestigious event simulates the workings of the United Nations, giving students the opportunity to act as diplomats, collaborate, and address global issues.
Under the guidance of Jeffrey Morton, professor of international law and diplomacy, LCDP has earned a reputation for excellence. With six national titles and 75 awards for academic excellence, the program continues to inspire future diplomats. This year, participants earned top honors, including Best Delegation, Distinguished Delegation, and Outstanding Delegation.
